So try an uninstall/reinstall, and take note (screenshot?) of any errors you get when reinstalling, if any. ![]() and well, maybe it was actually more than just the VST2 that errored. ![]() You mentioned you think you saw the VST2 error when you installed. I think what I'd do if I were you is uninstall Analog Lab completely, and just reinstall it again. I think it will actually be in an Arturia folder in there. And you could probably easily confirm the VST3 is there by checking in C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3 for the VST3. It's not possible you just have the Standalone, because you can see that Reaper actually attempted to load the VST3 version. Is it possible that I just have the standalone version, or is that the same program Reaper uses but just needs some connection? (file, path, etc.) You'd reinstall the runtime (I linked it above) and it gives option to repair, although I'm not entirely sold that this is the issue here since the Standalone works. If the standalone threw an error of some sort, we could address that. OK, so that's great it works, but also probably makes troubleshooting a little harder. When it just says "VSTi:" that is a VST2, when it says "VST3i:", that of course is a VST3.īased on your first post, I don't think you're going to see anything here, which tells me that either you haven't installed the VST2 version, it has some issue that Reaper can't loaded (this was eliminated as a possibility though because your screenshot of plugins that failed to load doesn't list the VST2) or you installed it in a location that Reaper isn't aware of. If the VST2 is installed and correctly working, you'll see it on right as VSTi: Analog Lab V (Arturia). Well, for starters, open up the FX Browser in Reaper, on the left, ensure you have All Plugins selected, then search up "Analog Lab" (or don't filter/search, and just look under Arturia in Developers). How do I repair? Reinstall? Is it possible that I just have the standalone version, or is that the same program Reaper uses but just needs some connection? (file, path, etc.) The standalone version works great with my MIDI keyboard. I feel like I saw an error about the VST2. I do not know if a VST2 version of Arturia is installed. ![]() In my recent plugin installations, I've seen the C++ runtime thing come up and always allowed it to install. If it complains about missing DLLs, you might just need the latest VC++ redistributable () - you could also try a repair if it seems to already be installed. if so, try running that and see what happens. Visual C++ runtimes) or some sort of dependency.ĭo you have the VST2 installed, and working, at least? Also, I think there's a standalone version (can't remember). For example, you might be missing some updates (ex. OK so you can at least confirm from that, that Reaper found the plugin, but wasn't able to load it for some reason (something wrong with the plugin).
